Hans Bølling

Hans Benedikt Bølling, b. 1931, Danish architect. Originally qualified as an advertising artist and carpenter. However, he followed his passion for architecture and graduated from the School of Architects at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1960.
He had his own design studio from 1955. He has designed an abundance of works of art from small houses (villas), large buildings (town halls), toys and furniture. Other than his Tray table from 1963 that has great usage and variation, Bølling is also loved for his wooden duck family which he designed in the 1950s.
