Master cabinet maker Vagn Jacobsen ( b. 1932 ) qualified as a cabinet maker - won silver - in 1953.
He served as an apprentice and qualified as a cabinet maker from " Kgl. Hofmøbelfabrikant C.B. Hansens Etablissement ", the finest establishment in Copenhagen at that time.
After having completed his military service, he went to college in London and worked in America. Vagn Jacobsen returned to A/S Søborg Møbelfabrik, founded in 1890, in 1957, where he as the third generation in the family-owned business has been working in the production but also - occasionally - in the development of new models.
