NUMBERED ANNIVERSARY EDITION OF THE FAABORG CHAIR
Rud. Rasmussen is launching an Anniversary Edition to celebrate 100 years of the Faaborg Chair in which the first 100 chairs are numbered.
The exclusive numbered Anniversary Edition of the Faaborg Chair features an oil-treated surface and a seat upholstered with black Niger leather.
Kaare Klint's iconic Faaborg Chair was created in 1914 and first presented to the public at the inauguration of the Faaborg Museum on the Danish island of Funen in 1915. To mark the Faaborg Chair's 100th anniversary, Rud. Rasmussen has released an Anniversary Edition in which the first 100 pieces are numbered.
The anniversary edition is made of walnut - wood that is a popular choice today, just as the original oak burr variant was popular when the chair was created in 1914.
