After having dried outdoors for at least 6 months – from 80% moisture to approx. 25% - the wood we use for our furniture is stored indoors in our drying cellars for further drying. Before the wood can be used for further processing it is dried in order to ensure that the moisture is below 9%. If thick logs are needed, e.g. for the Faaborg Chair, the wood needs to dry indoors for at least 12 months before the wood can be processed.
