Machinery workshop

Raw and fine cutting of the wood is performed at the ground and 1st floor in the workshop. At the initial raw cutting burrs and other irregularities are cut off before the actual machine-processing of the objects can start. For the Faaborg Chair, designed by Kaare Klint, cutting is made from a template. For the bookcase system, designed by Mogens Koch, the wood is cut into panels which are sorted and fitted according to shades, tones and grains.
